Doser designed with Farmers
in mind
A new water powered medicator - the D25F2 has been
launched, designed with the pig and poultry farmers (and their
pockets!) in mind. The D25F2 has a fixed dose
rate of 2%(1:50 mix) at a cost of just £157.00 (excluding carriage
and VAT).
Easy to install and maintain and powered by water flow, the D25F2 accurately meters liquid concentrates and is ideal for dosing antibiotics
and vaccines.

Water Powered Beer Line
Cleaning
Cleaning Beerline systems has never
been quicker or easier thanks to the DOSATRON
Water Powered Beerline Cleaning System. This system is
capable of metering chemical concentrates proportionately and
accurately regardless of the water flow. The system is capable of cleaning multiple lines at the same
time and there is no need to re-fill and flush out the cleaning
bottles. Low
installation cost and simplicity ensure that cleaning beerlines has
never been easier.
Heron & Brearly Ltd have recently installed a Dosatron unit in The Railway Inn,
Douglas, Isle of Man. Peter

Dosatron
and Manor Bakeries working together to improve sanitising efficiency Manor Bakeries, Carlton, the largest cake manufacturing unit in Europe,
has installed 9 Dosatron pumps into the bakery to improve sanitising
efficiency, reduce costs and to be more environmentally friendly. Accurately diluting sanitising chemicals such as Sodium Hypochlorite
based products which are used extensively in the Food Industry for
sanitising food areas and floors.
Peter Creek, Hygiene and Environmental Manager for Manor
Bakeries Carlton stated “Prior to installing Dosatron pumps we were hand mixing
detergents, which was both potentially harmful to employees and also
highly inaccurate. We were also using 30000 litres of detergent each year. After
a recommendation we installed our first Dosatron units”.
“The savings have been considerable” he added “The units had
paid for themselves within 6 months. We were using far less chemicals and no electricity because
the units work entirely by the flow of water passing through them. I
was able to more than halve the amount of detergent being used in
one year. Manor
Bakeries, Carlton, has now achieved ISO 14001, and we consider
ourselves to be a much more environmentally friendly site as we are
using far less chemicals which would end up being washed into
drains. The Health and
Safety issue of not handling chemicals directly has also been a
great benefit to our employees. I will be installing a further 4
units later this year.”

Odour
Control – made easy

odour control applications on water and effluent treatment plants,
animal bi-product plants and food processing plants to dose products
such as biodegradable absorbers, essential oils, counteractants,

D45 RE 3000
This Dosatron is specially
designed for mixing low levels of concentrates with water, the
principle application of the D45RE3000 is water treatment.
The unit has a unique dosing range 3000:1 to 1000:1, which allows for greater accuracy regardless of the pressure
or flow variations. The flow rate range is from 100 ltr/hr to
4500ltr/hr. with an operating pressure of 0.5 to 5bar. The
D45RE3000 is also available with PVDF and Hastelloy components that
can withstand most corrosive liquids.
